My Best Tutor is a verified tutor app that helps students work through homework,
test-prep, and study questions. The app does not require an account. It uses a
stable device identifier so credits, question history, referrals, and anti-abuse
checks can work on the same device.
Information you provide
- Student profile - first name and grade are stored on your device
so explanations can be personalized and age-appropriate.
- Questions and answers - typed questions, subject, grade level,
selected help tier, tutor answers, and related timestamps may be sent to and
stored by our backend so the app can answer, verify, meter credits, and show your
question history.
- Problem photos - if you choose to take or upload a photo, that
image is sent to our backend only to read the problem text and return it for your
confirmation before solving.
- Referral codes - if you use or share a referral code, we store
code redemption and invite counts for credit rewards.
Device and integrity data
The app generates and stores a random device identifier on your device. We use it
to manage free credits, referrals, device history, rate limits,
and fraud prevention.
On supported devices, the app may use Apple App Attest or Google Play Integrity
to verify that requests come from a real install of the app. These checks may send
attestation tokens, challenges, and related technical data to our backend and to
Apple or Google as part of the platform verification process.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not require students to create an account.
- We do not collect contacts, precise location, microphone recordings, or payment
card details.
- We do not use student question content for third-party advertising targeting.
Retention and deletion
- On-device profile data remains on your device until you change
it, delete the app, or clear app data through your device settings.
- Backend question, credit, referral, and history records are kept
while needed to provide the app, prevent abuse, and support the credit system.
- You can request deletion of backend records associated with your device by
emailing support@dendigital.us.
Children
My Best Tutor is a general-audience educational app. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children under 13 without appropriate consent. If you
believe a child has provided personal information, email us and we will review and
delete it where required.
Your choices
- Do not upload a problem photo if you do not want that image sent for text
extraction.
- Manage camera and photo permissions in your device settings.
- Delete the app or clear app data to remove locally stored profile and device
data from your device.
