SpeakEasy Chinese Mandarin Privacy Policy

SpeakEasy Chinese Mandarin is a language learning app from Den Digital LLC.

Information We Collect

The app stores learning preferences and progress on your device, such as completed lessons, practiced phrases, audio settings, and display settings.

If account or cloud sync features are enabled, the app may use Supabase to authenticate users and sync learning progress. This may include an account identifier, email address if you choose email sign-in, and learning progress records.

The app requests microphone permission so you can mark and compare pronunciation practice. In the current app version, pronunciation practice is used on-device and audio recordings are not uploaded to our servers.

The app uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google and its partners may collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app activity, approximate location, diagnostics, and related ad performance data according to Google's policies.

How We Use Information

We use app data to provide learning features, remember settings, track progress, support optional account sync, and show ads.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by service providers used by the app, including Google AdMob for ads and Supabase for optional backend services.

Children

SpeakEasy Chinese Mandarin is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13.

Data Retention

Local learning data remains on your device unless you delete the app data or reset progress. Account or synced data may remain until you request deletion.

Account and Data Deletion

To request deletion of your SpeakEasy account and associated cloud-synced data, email support@dendigital.us with the subject "SpeakEasy account deletion" from the email address used for your account.

We will delete the account identifier, email address, and synced learning progress associated with that account unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate business records. Local data stored on your device can be removed by deleting the app data or uninstalling the app.

You may also request deletion of specific synced learning data without deleting your account by emailing support@dendigital.us with the subject "SpeakEasy data deletion request."
