SpeakEasy Spain Spanish Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the SpeakEasy Spain Spanish language-learning app (bundle ID com.dendigital.speakeasyspainspanish) published by Den Digital LLC.

Information the app handles

The app stores learning preferences and progress on your device. This may include completed lessons and scenarios, practiced phrases, practice counts, daily-goal and audio settings, display preferences, and onboarding status.

If account or cloud-sync features are enabled and you choose to use them, the app uses Supabase for authentication and learning-data sync. The information processed for those features may include an account identifier, your email address if you choose email sign-in, authentication and session information, saved words, lesson and review progress, scores, levels, streak data, reset events, and related timestamps.

Advertising

The app uses Google AdMob to show banner ads. The app requests non-personalized ads. Google and its advertising partners may still process device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, approximate location, diagnostics, and ad performance information to provide, secure, and measure advertising.

Google's handling of this information is described in the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Audio and device permissions

The current app uses device text-to-speech and lesson audio so you can hear words and phrases. It does not request microphone access and does not record or upload your voice. The app does not collect your contacts, photos, or precise location.

How information is used and shared

Information is used to provide the learning experience, remember settings, track progress, support optional account sync, operate and secure the service, and show and measure ads. Den Digital LLC does not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers used by the app, including Google AdMob for advertising and Supabase for optional authentication and cloud features.

Data retention and deletion

• Local data: Learning data and settings remain on your device until you reset progress, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.
• Account and synced data: If you use account or cloud-sync features, associated data may be retained while your account is active so your progress can be restored and synced.
• Deletion requests: To request deletion of your account and associated synced data, email support@dendigital.us from the email address used for the account with the subject “SpeakEasy account deletion.” You may request deletion of specific synced learning data using the subject “SpeakEasy data deletion request.”

We will delete the relevant account identifier, email address, and synced learning data unless limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate business records.

Children

SpeakEasy Spain Spanish is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
