TidyKit Privacy Policy

TidyKit is a storage-cleaning app that helps you free space by reviewing photos and videos, finding duplicates and screenshots, and cleaning duplicate contacts. We built it to respect your privacy: your photos, videos, and contacts never leave your device.

What we access on your device (and never collect)

Photos & videos — read locally only, so you can review and delete them to free space. We never upload, copy, or transmit your media.
Contacts — read locally only, to detect and merge duplicates. We never upload or transmit your contacts.

This processing happens entirely on your device. We have no server that receives your media or contacts, and we do not have access to them.

What is collected

TidyKit shows ads through Google AdMob. To do this, AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier (e.g. Apple’s IDFA) and related ad-interaction data, used for third-party advertising and measurement. On iOS we ask for your permission first via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt — if you decline, ads are served on a non-personalized basis. You can remove all ads at any time with the optional one-time Remove Ads purchase, which is processed by Apple/Google; we do not receive your payment details.

Google’s handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information.

What we do NOT do

No account or sign-in — we don’t know who you are.
No collection or transmission of your photos, videos, or contacts.
No selling of personal data.

Children

TidyKit is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

iOS: decline tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt, or in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Buy Remove Ads to stop all ads and ad-related data collection.
Revoke Photos/Contacts access anytime in your device Settings.
